I stopped by the library last week to pick up some CDs to listen to while taking a trip. I was really looking for something funny and uplifting so when I saw "funniest driveway moments" in this title and another CD set, I grabbed them both. About an hour into my trip, I put in the first CD ("Funniest Driveway Moments") and settled in for a fun, entertaining listen full of comedy and laughter. What I got instead was largely a collection of interviews with comedians talking about their careers. I finished listening (since I had nothing else with me) but was very disappointed. I saved this CD collection for the ride back and was hesitant to try it since the first one was such a let-down.
The back of the case says this "NPR unleashes its most laugh-packed comedy collection ever." I am not sure who wrote that, but they surely didn't listen to the product. While this one had more humorous moments that the first collection, it still was mainly interviews with comedians about their craft.
It wasn't awful and I did listen to all 2.5 hours but will be glad to return it to the library and happy I didn't spend my hard-earned money on it.
Not as advertised.
This product came in a timely manner and was in great shape, not cracked or broken. This is a Christmas gift, so I have not opened it, but the condition is as it says it is when buying. Everything looks great and I would purchase from this seller again!
The second cd was not "more funniest driveway moments", but was from another disc set that we already had ("funniest driveway moments")... Close name, but not correct!! Now we can only listen to the first half of what we paid for. (
Brings a smile to my face, and chuckles to my heart!
There are a few chuckles and smiles, but I was hoping for some raucous belly-laughs and was thus disappointed. Oh, well.
I love listening to NPR but this CD left me hanging high and dry.
Not even remotely funny or entertaining.
Save your bucks..listen to the radio version instead.
